  • Where can you leave your car/bicycle?

    You have to pay to park your car in our street and opposite the building. There is also free parking just outside the town centre on the Speelhof car park and, 100 metres further on, the Begijnhof. You can safely store your bike in the entrance hall of our holiday home. 't Cartuyfel was awarded the Bicycle-friendly accommodation label by Toerisme Vlaanderen.

  • What is the best way to get to us?

    Clement Cartuyvelsstraat is easily accessible! Check the contact page for a link to Google Maps.


Facilities in the room

  • You have bikes with batterie, is ther a possibility to rent normal bike?

    Yes, I can arrange this or you do it yourself. See on they create jobs for people you cannot find their way easily. The annulation e.g. because of bad weather is possible, but you will have to make a rebooking later instead of refund.

  • Do you offer cleaning services?

    The house will be clean on arrival and we ask you to leave the house clean and tidy on your departure, so that the guests after you have no cause to complain. All cleaning materials can be found on site!

  • Can we have breakfast?

    In our holiday home, the kitchens are perfectly equipped for preparing breakfast. If you fancy a bit of pampering, your host An will be happy to provide you with tips on delicious breakfast shops in the area. You can have it delivered to the holiday home or you can go there yourself!

  • Do we have access to the garden?

    Our holiday home does not have access to the garden. On the roof terrace (accessible via the Baptiste flat) you can enjoy the view of the garden and sunbathing or barbecuing.

  • Is there Wi-fi?

    Enjoy our free Wi-fi throughout the whole building!


Check-in / Check-out

  • Are there fixed check-in and check-out times?

    The check-in and check-out times are agreed in advance. If you arrive later, An will make sure that you can always enter the building. You can arrange this in detail by phone, email or Whatsapp. A late checkout is also an option, but you need to arrange this in advance as well.

  • What if we arrive later?

    If you arrive later, An will make sure that you can enter at any time. You can arrange this in detail by phone or Whatsapp.



  • Are there discounts or special offers for groups?

    Depending on the occupancy rate, the duration of your stay or the availability, An can draw up a specific price offer for you. So don't hesitate to contact her!

  • Do you have special rates for long stays?

    Of course, long stays are favoured. It is best to discuss your request as soon as possible.
